“SUPER CORVETTE”
In this story, The Block spotlights a crazy-cool replica of one of the five incredibly rare 1963 Grand Sport Corvettes. Only five Grand Sports were originally produced, but thanks to a company called Superformance, Corvette fans can own the next best thing: a highly-accurate replica of the originals. This one goes back to the future with a supercharged LT4 crate motor from Chevrolet Performance putting out 650 ponies to put the Grand in this Grand Sport.

“A TRUCK TRADITION”
Since way back in 1902, Chevrolet has been building the trucks America loves to drive, turning out one iconic design after another leading up to the all-new 2021 Chevy Silverado. In this feature, The Block finds three resto-mod Chevy trucks that embody the spirit of the brand and the great things Chevy owners do to make their Chevys their own long after they have left the lot. That includes Richard Espinosa’s cherry 1959 Apache Fleetside. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, fully restored to perfection outside, but with a 430-horsepower LS3 crate motor under the hood to spin the wide whitewalls.

CONNECT AND CRUISE: 1973 MALIBU LAGUNA
In this video, Blake Nye and Bill Martens take a closer look at a wild, full-custom 1973 Chevrolet Malibu Laguna. One of the great unsung Chevy designs from the early 1970s, this Laguna has been given a pro-touring look, with blackout paint and loads of custom touches, including a fiberglass hood, led-ring headlights, a fully-updated interior, four-wheel disc brakes and more. To make sure there’s plenty of bite to go with that bark, it’s got a 750-horsepower LT5 crate engine in it, backed by a six speed manual.
