OU makes Princeton Review’s list of Best Value Colleges for 2021!

Here at Landers Chevrolet of Norman, we’re very proud of our support of and connections to the University of Oklahoma. We love celebrating the accomplishments of OU and our Sooners, even when less means more!

What do we mean by “less means more?” Less money for a better education you can get almost anywhere else, of course! But don’t take our word for it. Recently, OU was selected as a “Best Value College for 2021” by the prestigious Princeton Review, which recognized OU as being among the best schools in the nation when it comes to giving graduates the best academics and career prospects for the best value.

“At OU, we understand the importance of our role as an outstanding public university to provide academic excellence while remaining affordable and accessible,” said OU President Joseph Harroz Jr. “It is truly gratifying to earn this recognition, which serves as a testament to our efforts to provide a life-changing education at OU.”

To determine their best educational values list for 2021, Princeton Review looked at over 650 colleges and universities across the nation, ranking them on over 40 different metrics, including  academic life, cost of attendance, availability of financial aid, career services for students, graduation rates, student debt and more. They also looked at surveys from students and alumni who have started new employment after graduation.

When all was said and done, only 1.2 percent of Americas four-year university made the cut as a Best Value College, with OU the only four-year institution in the Sooner State to land on the coveted list.

Almost as exciting was OU’s high rankings in several otherPrinceton Review 2021 rankings lists, including

  • #6 of their Top 20 Public Best Schools for Internships
  • #8 of their Top 20 Public Best Schools for Financial Aid
  • #9 of their Top 20 Public Best Alumni Networks
  • #15 on the list of Top 20 Public Best Schools for Making an Impact
