The all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban both have a Z71 trim level. The Z71 adds red tow hooks, skid plate, 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, black tubular side steps, available four-corner air ride suspension, and a unique look to the front bumper with added black trim and a larger approach angle to conquer off-road obstacles. Inside you’ll find Jet Black leather seats with red trim stitching.

The 2021 Chevrolet Colorado offers a Z71 trim level which includes lots of off-road goodies. The Colorado Z71 has an off-road suspension package, automatic locking rear differential, unique 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, front tow hooks, and Z71 badging.

The 2021 Silverado takes a different approach to the Z71 package. The Z71 Off-Road Package is available on almost every trim level of the Silverado but comes standard on the Trail Boss trims. The Z71 Silverado includes the Autotrac two-speed transfer case, twin-tube Rancho shocks, a metal underbody skidplate shield, a heavy-duty air filter, an industry-first air filter, and all-terrain tires.

Each included factory feature on the Chevy Z71 models improves its performance off-road and durability to stand up to the conditions. An automatic locking rear differential is important because it can react in milliseconds to low traction situations to keep you moving forward. It works by providing equal power to both rear wheels. Hill Descent Control is very important as you’re climbing back down from your journey and uses antilock braking to automatically provide a smooth descent on steep terrain.
