While that is more than other comparably-sized, gasoline-powered Chevrolet cars and SUVs, like the Sonic and Trailblazer, it’s important to remember that both the Bolt vehicles cost only pennies per mile to operate, never have need oil changes, and never have to be gassed up, potentially saving the average driver thousands per year in fuel costs alone.

Pair that with government tax credits for owning an all-electric vehicle, and the Bolt EUV and EV actually become some of the most cost-effective vehicles of any brand when it comes to dollars-per-mile to operate.

Since 2017, the Bolt EV sedan has been leading the charge toward an electric future for cars, with sales of the first-gen Bolt topping 100,000 units. Studies show that three-quarters of Bolt EV buyers are new to any General Motors brand, and customer satisfaction with the Bolt is sky high.

On the go, standard DC fast charging allows you to add 100 miles of range to your 2022 Bolt EV sedan in only 30 minutes, while the 2022 Bolt EUV can gan 95 miles of range in the same amount of time, due to the SUV’s slightly heavier weight.
