The all-new 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is the hottest crossover to come from Chevy. Now there’s an even newer and hotter compact crossover, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer! The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer borrows styling cues from its strikingly designed bigger brother, the Blazer. The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a resurrection of the Trailblazer name that hasn’t been seen in the United States since 2009. The Trailblazer is smaller than the Blazer with a more compact design, improved gas mileage, and a cheaper price tag.

Starting Price:

• Trailblazer – Official pricing has not been released but Chevy states the 2021 Trailblazer to start under $20,000.
• Blazer – Starting MSRP is $28,800.

Engine Options:

• Trailblazer – A 1.2L turbo or 1.3L turbo engine is available with up to 155 horsepower.
• Blazer – Standard 2.5L 4-cylinder or optional 2.0L turbo or optional 3.6L V6 with up to 308 horsepower.

Cargo Space:

• Trailblazer – Max storage capacity is rated up to 54.4 cubic feet.
• Blazer – Max storage capacity is rated up to 64.2 cubic feet.

Fuel Economy:

• Trailblazer – Official numbers haven’t been released but similar engines can be found on the Trax and Equinox and both offer over 30 miles per gallon on the highway.
• Blazer – Up to 27 miles per gallon on the highway.

Trim Options:

• Trailblazer – L, LS, LT, Activ, and RS
• Blazer – L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier

Drive Mode Options:

• Trailblazer – Normal, Snow, and Sport
• Blazer – Tour, Sport, All-Wheel Drive, Tow/Haul, and Off-Road
• Both the Blazer and Trailblazer are available with all-wheel drive.
