Consumer Reports proclaims the most attractive feature of the new Trax is the “fairly low introductory cost.” It starts at just $21,495 (including the $1,095 destination fee, with even the highest trim at a reasonable price of close to $25,000. This makes it the cheapest vehicle General Motors sells in the US. It’s even cheaper than its predecessor!

Practical with Space

The newest Trax “offers significantly more space, style and features than before,” Car and Driver reports. It goes on to note that “the Trax’s stretched-out shape also pays dividends inside, as rear legroom and cargo space are significantly increased thanks to the drastically longer wheelbase and wider track.” It’s longer, lower and wider, and we think we’re already obsessed with the new paint colors available.

Stylish Physique 

“It doesn’t look outwardly cheap, and the cabin is roomy, with a pleasantly low dashboard that opens up an expansive view forward and to the sides,” MotorTrend goes on to report. “The dashboard itself is stylish, with big, round air vents at each corner and Camaro-like center air vents placed beneath a piano-black panel that houses the central touchscreen.”
