Let’s discuss the exterior.

The four engine choices are a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, 5.3-liter V8, 6.2-liter V8, and a 3.0-liter Duramax diesel. The 2.7-liter can reach up to 310 horsepower and has 348 lb.-ft. of torque, with auto stop/start technology and eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine comes standard with WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, and RST. The 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 comes with 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, alongside its eight-speed automatic transmission and auto stop/start tech. This engine comes standard on the LTZ, LT Trail Boss, and High Country trims, but is available for the LT and RST trims as well. The 6.2-liter EcoTec V8 hails with 420 hp, 460 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine is available for the Custom Trail Boss and if equipped with automatic stop/start tech, it has a maximum towing capacity of 9,100 pounds. Without the automatic stop/start tech, the 6.2-liter engine is available for the High Country, LTZ, LT Trail Boss, and RST with a max towing capacity of 13,300 pounds. The 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine has 277 hp, 460 lb.-ft. of torque, a ten-speed automatic transmission, auto stop/start tech, and a max towing capacity of 9,300 pounds. This engine is available on LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trims. 

Let’s discuss the cabin. 

The interior is just as important as the exterior, as this will be where you’ll be when your truck leaves the garage.
