Goodbye Summer, hello Fall!

Well, maybe not quite yet but soon enough. It's time to start making that Fall bucket list of things you MUST do. Getting that pumpkin spice latte, going to a pumpkin patch with the family, Carving a Pumpkin, OU Football game or even tailgating! Fall is such a fun season. Here at Landers Chevrolet of Norman, we are pretty pumped for some fall camping. Just think about it! You get to sleep in the great outdoors once it gets cooler. Perks of living in the south right? Best Places to Camp near Norman, Oklahoma: 

  1. Oklahoma City East KOA - Just fifteen minutes downtown Oklahoma City is this amazing place. If you camp here, you are close enough to go into town for dinner or what have you but also far enough away to enjoy the great outdoors. Around the campground you can do some fun fall events. Take part in the scavenger hunt, ride a wagon, roast some s'mores and hot dogs and tons more! Perfect place for the entire family.

  2. Honey Lee Ranch - This is more of a “fine” camping situation. This place is over 300 acres, with ample space for guests. Honey Lee Ranch is known for their horseback riding trails. They also have campsites along the trails with heat and air conditioning.

  3. Central State Park - This spot is the perfect option for all you fishers out there! It’s on 249 acres of land right off of Lake Arcadia and has boat ramps to make things a tad easier. There are also RV hookups and numerous camping sites for you!
