Road Trip Checklist

ROAD TRIP SEASON IS HERE! Are you guys pumped? You know we are. With the season of memories, sun, beaches and long road trips ahead of us, it’s time for the dreaded packing. This is obviously one of the least fun parts of road trips, however, it's crucial for a great vacation. Here at Landers Chevrolet of Norman, we thought it might be of use to compile this extensive list of packing essentials. We hope this helps you not forget any essentials!

Packing Essentials:

  1. Car -- First you need an awesome road trip car, and this is where we come in. We have everything you need to ensure road trip goes off without a hitch! Come see us today to find your perfect vehicle. Also, a set of wheels is just the first step when it comes to car road trips. You need to ensure your car is well serviced as well. Oil Changes, a tire rotation, brake fluid check, windshield wiper fluid top-off -- be sure to check all of this before you hit the road.
  2. Other Car Necessities -- Driver’s license, car registration, insurance information, extra car key (just do it), spare tire, flashlight, car phone charger -- even a portable charger! Sounds easy but let’s be real...we all forget them.
  3. Garbage bag -- You should probably throw out all that road trip food trash. Also, on that note… let’s bring some mints while we are at it.
  4. Toilet Paper -- You never know.
  5. Deodorant Wipes -- Long road trip ahead? You need these. Your passengers will thank you later.
  6. Cash
  7. Sunglasses
  8. Travel Cup -- Let’s be eco-friendly, okay? It’s the cool thing to do now.
  9. Bug Spray
  10. Clothes
  11. Bathroom Utilities -- Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, brush, dry shampoo, debordant, chapstick, lotion.
  12. Toll Pass -- If needed, or coins. Some highway systems will take cash for tolls.
  13. Camera -- Don’t forget to document your memories!

We hope this list will give you the basics to get you started! Remember if you need that perfect road trip vehicle, come by Landers Chevrolet of Norman today. Happy Summer!
