Let's Explore the Different 2019 Chevy Corvette Models

With four gorgeous and exhilarating trims available, the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette is one wicked-fast sports car with a ton of personality. Whether you prefer the Stingray, the Grand Sport, the Z06, or the newly-added ZR1, each model sparks imagination (and envy!) wherever it goes. However, all these exciting Corvette options can be a bit overwhelming, so we’re here to break down what makes each model unique so you can easily find the right one for you.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

  • Pricing starts at $55,495.

  • Available in both a two-door coupe and a two-door convertible.

  • This model seats two people.

  • Features a combined MPG of 19.

  • Under the hood lies a 6.2-Liter V-8 engine that generates up to 455 horsepower.

  • Come standard with a 7-speed manual transmission, with an 8-speed paddle shift transmission available.

  • It’s important to note that the available Z51 performance package for the Stingray includes a retuned suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, a multi-mode exhaust, bigger rotors, a rear spoiler, new gear ratios, a dry-sump oil system, and most importantly a slight bump in horsepower up to 460.

Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

  • Pricing starts at $65,495.

  • Available in a two-door coupe and convertible model.

  • Also features seating for two people.

  • Combined MPG of the Grand Sport is 19.

  • The Grand Sport features the powertrain of the Stingray Z51 performance package--a 6.2-liter V8 engine that puts out 460 horsepower.

  • The design of the Grand Sport borrows aerodynamic elements of the Z06 for an overall slightly smaller appearance.

  • The 7-speed manual transmission still comes standard in the Grand Sport with the optional 8-speed paddle shift still available.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06

  • Pricing begins at $79,495.

  • The two-door coupe and two-door convertible styles are also available in the Z06 Corvette--still seating only two people.

  • Overall significantly more aerodynamic design for a much sleeker look.

  • The combined MPG of the Z06 is 17.

  • A supercharged version of the 6.2-liter V8 engine rests under the hood, generating a staggering 650 horsepower.

  • Similar transmission options carry over to this trim as well, with the 7-speed manual or the 8-speed paddle shift automatic being available options.

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

  • The most powerful Corvette ever produced, the ZR1’s pricing begins at $118,900.

  • Available in a two-door convertible and two-door coupe, this powerhouse seats two people.

  • The most aggressive and sleek of the Corvette styles, the ZR1’s stunning design not-so-subtly hints at the power and performance under the hood.

  • Like the other models, the ZR1 features the 7-speed transmission as standard with the optional 8-speed paddle shift automatic available as well.

  • This supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine is the most powerful of the Corvettes, generating 755 horsepower and a killer top speed of 212 MPH.
