The 2022 Tahoe has six trim levels to choose from, including LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country.
The RST trim comes with a monochromatic black grille, Black Ice accents, specific badging and emblems, and 22-inch black-painted aluminum wheels with wheel locks. While you can get the Tahoe RST in any of the exterior colors, discussed later, you can choose for the Tahoe High Country, the RST interior only comes in Jet Black for a more refined look.
The Z71 grade comes with red recovery hooks and a skid plate, as well as black tubular assist steps and 20-inch wheels, and all-terrain tires.
The highest trim, the High Country, comes with the High Country signature grille, sill plates, interior stitching, and 22-inch wheels with all-season tires and wheel locks.

Option number two; A 6.2-liter Ecotec3 V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management and also not equipped with Automatic Stop/Start. The estimated MPG is 14 city and 20 highway for 2WD and 14 city and 19 highway for 4WD options. You’re looking at 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque with a 10-speed automatic transmission with this option. This engine will come standard with the Tahoe High Country but is available for the RST, Z71, and Premier editions.
Option number three: Duramax 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine with Automatic Stop/Start. The estimated MPG is 21 city, 28 highway for 2WD and 20 city, 26 highway for 4WD. You can go around 672 miles on the highway with the diesel engine and max fuel in the tank. The diesel engine comes with 277 hp, 460 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine doesn’t come standard on any 2022 Tahoe, but it is available for the LS, LT, RST, Premier, and High Country grades.
Whichever engine calls to you, you’ll be impressed with the smooth, quiet ride and easy handling. The 2022 Chevy Tahoe comes with Magnetic Ride Control, and for the Z71 and High Country, you can choose the Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension to have complete control no matter the road or conditions.
